Quick analysis

OF YOUR SOIL

20 minutes

to understand your microbial status

and optimize your yields!

Today, without rapid diagnostic tools, farmers cannot measure in real time the impact of their practices on soil microbial life

— a hindrance to soil fertility and carbon storage.

As INRAE points out, soil biodiversity is an essential asset to preserve.

microBIOMETER®, a patented technology to reveal the microbial life of your soils.

Our exclusive method specifically extracts the free-living microbial fraction by separating microorganisms from mineral particles.

The sample is then analyzed via a mobile app, which scans its colorimetric signature to estimate:

- Microbial biomass (in μg C/g of soil)

- The fungal-bacterial ratio (F:B), as well as the relative proportions of fungi (F%)

and bacteria (B%).

Proven reliability:

95% correlation with microscopic analysis.

Our method provides key indicators to manage biological soil fertility and support the transition to more sustainable agriculture.

Check Why Microbial Biomass Really Matters for Your Soil

High microbial biomass means more nutrients are available to your plants—reducing or even eliminating the need for chemical fertilizers.

- Microbes, especially fungi, strengthen soil structure and limit erosion.

- If biomass drops after applying chemical fertilizer, it's a sign that the dose was excessive.

- The fungal-to-bacterial (F:B) ratio in the rhizome soil reveals whether arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have colonized your plant—a real plus against drought and pests.

- An increase in the F:B ratio indicates that the green manure used is effective.

- Soil organic carbon comes largely from dead microbes. Without them, there is no carbon sequestration or soil regeneration.

- A rapid increase in microbial biomass indicates the effectiveness of your cover crops or amendments.
